| Yes I'm back, and what a wonderful visible world it is. What's that? For any reason in particular? Does a Christian with the true hope of the Cross really need a reason? Thank You Jesus for being MY GOD! Even when I'm so unfaithful... Oh, yeah and um... Your mom needs a reason!
By the Way,
Jordan
P.S. Even I had to admit that it annoyed me when I had to highlight just to read all your perspectives!

| Okay, So it's slightly obnoxious... but all you have to do is highlight... | | |
| The Graciousness of Uncertainty
"What we will be has not yet been made known." 1 John 3:2
Naturally we are designed to be so mathematical and calculating that we look upon uncertainty as a bad thing. We imagine that we have to reach some end, but that is not the nature of spiritual life. The nature of spiritual life is that we are certain in our uncertainty, consequently we do not make our nests anywhere. Common sense says- " Well, supposing I were in that condition..." We cannot suppose ourselves in any condition we have never been in.
Certainty is the mark of the common-sense life: gracious uncertainty is the mark of the spiritual life. To be certain of God means that we are uncertain in all our ways, we do not know what a day may bring forth. This is generally said with a sigh of sadness, it should be rather an expression of breathless expectation. We are uncertain of the next step, but we are certain of God. Immediately we abandon to God, and do the duty that lies nearest, He packs our life with surprises all the time. When we become advocates of a creed, something dies; we do not believe God, we only believe our belief about Him. Jesus said, "Unless you... become like little children." Spiritual life is the life of a child. We are not uncertain of God, but uncertain of what He is going to do next. If we are only certain in our beliefs, we get dignified and severe and have the ban of finality about our views; but when we are rightly related to God, life if full of spontaneous, joyful uncertainty and expectancy.
"Trust also in me," said Jesus, not- "Believe certain things about Me." Leave the whole thing to Him, it is gloriously uncertain how He will come in, but He will come. Remain loyal to Him.

| Update? Who updates hmmm.... and what have they to update for. Brazil was cool, but I have nothing vastly important or exiting to share about. The Lord is faithful to show simple things to a simple man. Heaven help me I hoped this experience would transform me somehow but I'm still the same man who left for Brazil. Of course I've learned alot and I've changed... a little, but at the core I'm still Jordan. SURPRISE!!!
Anyway I still love music and if I can find a song on an MP3 that I really wanna play I'll share it witcha. Pray for me about my future. I'm becoming frustrated... I'm ready to step but I STILL don't know where...

The next time I post will be maybe in a month and a half. I'm leaving tomorrow! First Colorado then Brasil... with lotsa luggage. Pray for the kids at VBS... Pray for the Canamari... and then pray for Zach, I, and our team... if you get a chance. Oh, and check out this sweet quote, yeah uh, might wanna read it twice!
"The full acting out of the self's surrender to God therefore damands pain: this action, to be perfect, must be done from the pure will to obey, in the absence,or in the teeth, of inclination".
